Cliff-side bench; where the tired sits, beholds birds, fields, Waghotan creek.
Shaded by trees, serenaded by squirrels, crows, rustling leaves,
My little corner of the world; how to forget simplicity?
The above poem is for the NaPoWriMo2021. Day 20 Prompt: Sijo poem. It is a three-line Korean poem that has 14-16 syllables in each line. The poem is reminiscent to a Shakespearean sonnet where: the first part introduces a theme; the second develops the same; the third concludes the poem or introduces a twist.
